Commedia Dell High School

Commedia Dell Arte was a theatre art form during the Italian Renaissance. The performers did not use a script. Instead they used a “scenario” to guide them in an improvised performance with “stock characters”. Attempting to connect our past with our present, you will create a “stock character” based on the genre of teen movies. We will call this “commedia dell High School”.

describe the character in a paragraph,
their costume,
a sample of dialogue,
their antagonist,
their circle of friends are,
and finally what is this character’s main objective in life. Have fun!

The Glass Menagerie Themes

“The Glass Menagerie” is about a dysfunctional family in crisis . Some of the themes in the play deal with the subjects of escape and abandonment vs. responsibility. Apply these themes to the characters of Amanda, Laura and Tom.
