Describe your creative process and your experience working with other students to create theatre. What were some of the challenges, the rewards and the final things you learned?
Our process was kind of difficult at first but then we determined that we would incorporate all different types of modern theatre. Which is good because the audience gets to experience and appreciate a little bit of everything. Our performance is very unique. Working with other students to create theatre was actually fun. We made sure to use everyone's ideas so nobody's creativity was left out. It's interesting the ideas that everyone comes up with and im glad that we could put them all together to create a good performance. Some of the challenges we experienced were pretty much how we were going to put together all these different types of modern theatre and make it work as one big performance. All in all, it was fun to rehearse and come up with even more ideas as we went along to see how we could make ti better. It really showed me how easy it can be to work with others and that sometimes its good to listen to other people's ideas, because honestly you can create something great. I mean my own ideas are good but some of the things my group members came up with i wouldv'e never thought of. It's ncie to put everyone's creativity together. I enjoyed this experience.
The creative process in theatre is very complex and starts out slowly. The creative process was also hindered by working with new people. However, once we opened up, we found it easy to combine our creative thoughts and create a performance involving a little of everything. The difficulty of working with new people turned out to be what helped take our performance to new heights.
